Information Control

On can not say that the idea of a president, his administration, or even his party trying to control the news cycle has not been there.

In one way, it has been. For a very long time, the democrats and their willing accomplices in the so-called, unbiased news media have done just that.

If there was a story that a particular democrat did not want to be reported, it would not be. That particular person could make sure by releasing said story on a Friday or what is commonly called “Take Out The Trash Day.” It is called this because, usually, it is just a big data dump of what are usually minor events and because of the sheer volume are not read by the vast majority of the American people.

Things have drastically changed with the widespread use of the Internet. More people are having more information at their fingertips and are deciding what stories are the most important to said people.

It is said that one man's trash is an others treasure, well, with the news, it can be said also.

It is not so easy to cover things up.
