The progressives, on both sides of the
isle, love to have a massive government which will keep growing
bigger an bigger throughout time an memoriam.
The problem comes with the law of
diminshing returns. A government can only grow so large until it
collapses under its own weight.
I think that we are getting closer to
the point where the US federal government is going to do this. It
might not happen within then next five, ten, or fifteen years but, as
I have said before, it will not be long before it does collapse.
Uncle Sam is morbidly obese and it is
only a matter of time before his body functions start to shut down.
