Great Expectations

In man parts of life the progressives have so lowered the expectations of many things that take place in life.

EVERYONE GETS A TROPHY

There was a time that everyone did not get a trophy. The reason why they did not receive the trophy was that they did not achieve enough excellence to win enough games to win a championship. There was once a movie called Over The Top. In this movie there were interviews with the athletes about winning a big arm wrestling contest. One of these such interviews stated that the man who did it said that he wanted to win the tournament because people don't remember the people who finish behind the winner. He said that second place was nowhere, “Second sucks.”

This “everyone gets a trophy” thing is all about self-esteem. Self-esteem is like climate change/global warming, it is a hoax.

This is just one example of this.

We should have Great Expectations about this country. The problem is the progresive policies that are holding us down.

HIGH TAXES

The higher taxes go, the worse the economy gets. Businesses have to survive, somehow. They way they do it is tightening of the belt. They do not give out bunuses, there will not be as much overtime, no hiring takes place, layoffs will take place, and there will not be investments into the particular business.
