How Much Is Retirement

I will contend to anyone who will listen to me that whatever they thought their retirement account, whatever type of account it is, it worth less than they think it is worth.

Let's start with the fact that they Federal Reserve has been printing money hand over fist. They think that it is proping up the economy. That might be the truth but the more money that is printed, the less the money is worth. Therefore, if your account has one-million dollars in it that one-million dollars is possibly worth half the amount in tha account is worth.

In general, one-million dollars today is worth what one-million dollars was worth in 1990. It is worth 17.8 percent less today ($567,047.75).

The people need to pay attention to their retirement accounts.
