In the late 1800's, there were a great number of persons who looked to get rich quick by selling what would later be called snake oil.

The snake oil of the current century is Obamacare. It was sold on false promises and flat out lies. Like most of the snake oils which were sold in the late 1800's, nothing about Obamacare seems to work. Also, like most snake oils, Obama is designed to look like a success but it is just a failure.

There very real reasons why snake oil salespeople are put in jail and the Food and Drug Administration exists. The answers to those qestions. Those people were selling products which were fraudulent and dangerous.
